The last 6 months have been quite interesting. With an office setup in downtown San Francisco, we are now pushing to grow Collecting Smiles into a full fledged developer. Our initial goal is to build on Colors!, the small hobby project I started working on it 2007. With the abundance of new touch sensitive devices and the explosion of social networks it should be a project well worth betting on. We can’t really say much of what that means yet, but our goal is to put Colors! on every device where it can shine.
With me is a small group of people mostly scattered throughout Europe. I’ve worked with them on and off for years but never actually met any of them in person. It’s an interesting time we live in when physical location means so little.
Colors! has probably been the most rewarding project I’ve ever worked on. I sort of started in the games industry as a tools programmer, and I do believe that tools are the only barrier that prevents anyone from creating whatever they can imagine. Giving the power of creativity to your users provides the most amazing feedback you can get; stuff like this. Just thinking that I had a hand in creating any of those amazing paintings is what keeps me so excited about Colors! even 4 years after it’s initial conception. And we’re only getting started…
It’s great to hear that you’re still that creative mind that we who knew you long time ago treasured and admired.
The ones of us stuck in office cubicles with less cool jobs than yours, salute you :-)
Keep up the good work, the world is watching!

Hi Jens, just a quick question for you if you don’t mind. Any plans for a Gravity Power Remake for XBLA? Good luck with Collecting Smiles.
